THE SOUND OF TWO WORLDS COLLIDING
ITI is a South African-born artist, DJ, and music producer based in Miami, USA. Raised in Johannesburg, his connection to music began early , playing instruments from the age of 5 and stepping behind the decks at 11. These formative years shaped a sound rooted in African percussion, deep bass, and groove, driven by rhythm, tension, and movement.
Drawing inspiration from indie dance and Maccabi influences, ITI’s music aims to push a personal, bass-forward language that bridges cultural african rhythm with modern club expression. As a DJ, he brings this vision to life through immersive, rhythm-led sets that honor his origins while constantly evolving forward.
Co-Founder of Souché, In 2025,
ITi co-founded the Afro-House duo Souché alongside Pablo after the two met while studying at Icon Collective in Los Angeles. When the school suddenly shut down, Pablo had just 14 days to leave the U.S. a pivotal moment that led to their decision to travel to South Africa together and build a shared musical vision. Souché, which means “origin” or “root” in French, represents both of their cultural backgrounds, South Africa and Chile and in their minds, Souché has come to mean exactly that: South Africa and Chile united through music. What began as a creative connection in LA has evolved into a powerful partnership making waves across international dancefloors.
